Half-Baked
As opposed to Biscotti, which is twice-baked.
Role: Developer, Artist
Bake cookies! This game was created to test a new game mechanic while retaining the feel of the popular match-3 series games. Instead of swapping out two tiles to create seperate matches, Half-Baked introduces a system where tapping one cookie destroys it, and matches are automatically formed after a certain number of taps/moves.
This game was developed in Flash using the Starling engine for optimization. With the exception of core collapsing mechanics and class structures in place from the previous team that worked on this, Half-Baked is a solo project. The highlight of my responsiblities was polish, creating a FUE (first-user experience) system/manager, implementing the combo and score calculating system as well as numerous bugfixes.

Brighter cookies mean more points.
After a set number of clicks, the rolling pin "resets" the board and allows new cookies to collapse.
Collapsing cookies after a roll has reset the board
